Privacy Policy

AAC Studio, Inc. provides SVO Dice and is the data controller for the information described here.

• Account details — email address, and optionally your name, role, city, state or region, country, phone number and a link to a photo. Used to create and run your account and to reply when you contact us.
• Settings — your language, colour, sound, text size and accessibility choices, so the app looks and behaves the way you set it.
• Learner profiles — the identifier you choose for each learner and the subjects and verbs you select for them. You choose what goes in this field, and we ask you not to enter real names or identifying details.
• Practice data — sessions, which pictures were shown, and the ◆/○ results you record, so you can see progress and export it.
• Messages you send us — the category and text of Contact messages. Learner names and learner data are never attached automatically.
• Subscription information — your plan and subscription status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not by us.
• Technical information — basic security and error information needed to keep the service running.

To help you when something goes wrong, SVO Dice staff (the owner and invited administrators) may view your account, learners, and practice data. We only look when helping you with a problem or keeping the service running, and every look is recorded in an activity log.

Because learners are code names or numbers rather than real names, practice data cannot be tied to a real child unless an adult enters identifying information themselves. Please keep using code names.

We process account, learner and practice data to perform our contract with you; security and error information under our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and working; and optional marketing messages only with your consent.

• Hosting and database providers who run the service on our behalf.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sales, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting, where needed.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your information.

Account, learner and practice data are kept while your account is open and for a short period afterwards, then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time.

You can access, correct, export or delete your information, object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email and text message preferences are set separately at sign-up and in your profile; account and billing messages are sent regardless because they are needed to run your subscription. Data is stored with access controls and encrypted in transit. Even so, SVO Dice is not designed to hold Protected Health Information — please use non-identifying learner identifiers, especially since practice data can be exported.

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
